started playing drums at the age of 12. He began to play in Big Bands, later also in gospelchoirs, rock- and popbands as well as some jazz combos. His mastery at the drums can also be heard in latinamerican styles, e.g. sambagroups, afrocuban-, afrobrazilian- and afrocarribean groupings. A couple of years ago, he also picked up the marimba, vibraphone and bass.

His impressive way of drumming can be recognized on several CD productions, live recordings, videos, DVDs and performances on the radio and television. His musical journeys went through Germany over Poland, Hungary even to China. Giving drumlessons is also part of his life.
